THE AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
& SUPPORTING EVENTS

- Age Groups for all events (other than stipulated) will be decided after receipt of entries.
- Dancer numbers will be allocated by random draw on closing date.
- Championship photographs will be taken after the presentation.
- Order of Events listed below.
- Refer to Rule 19 for the Premier Trophy Events.
- Refer to Rule 20 for the Restricted Events.
- Refer to Rule 21 for the Premier Title.

 

PREMIER EVENTS

(A) THE AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Open to only those dancers either born in Australia or who have been resident in Australia for at least 6 months immediately prior to the event.

7 - 9 years
10 - 11 years
12 - 13 years
14 - 15 years
16 - 17 years
18 - 20 years
21 - 23 years
24 years & over

Perpetual Trophy & Sash to be awarded for 1- 6 places overall
Medals to be awarded for Individual Dances
 

(B) TROPHY DANCE        

Barracks Johnnie (5 steps) * (See Rule 19)

Rule 19: Trophy Dance: This event is open to Premier Dancers who have been successful in gaining 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd in a registered Championship Worldwide since 11 April 2021.
 

(C) RESTRICTED EVENT * (See Rule 20)

Rule 20: Premier (with Restriction) Trophy Dance & Section Dances: These events are open to Premier Dancers who have not been successful in gaining 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd in a registered Championship Worldwide since 11 April 2021.
