Entry Fee: Title $20.00; Trophy Dance $10.00; Section Dance $6.00

Choreography Entry Fee: $6.00 per dancer for Solos, Duos and Groups of 3.
$20 for groups of 4-5 and $30 for groups of 6 or more.

SOLO ENTRY TO BE COMPLETED VIA HD COMPS ALL OTHER CHOREOGRAPHY ENTRIES AND FEES TO BE SENT TO PETREA GIBBINS DOHERTY AS PER ENTRY FORM

Administration Fee: $12.00 per Family - includes entry into the venue.

ScotDance App will be used for all results no paper programs provided.

BONNIE SCOTLAND CUP: Village Maid (4 steps); Blue Bonnets (4 steps) and Earl of Errol (4 steps)


Section Dances and Trophy Dance ONLY Will Be Danced As Separate Sections Premier And Premier With Restriction.

Premier with Restriction is restricted to Premier dancers who have not previously been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd overall in a Registered Championship.

Dancers entered in Premier with Restriction dances are not eligible to compete in any other classification in the same dance.

 

TROPHY DANCE: Sailors' Hornpipe (5 steps)

SECTION DANCES: Scottish Lilt (4 steps); Barracks Johnnie (4 steps) and Highland Laddie (4 steps)
 

“The Elsie Innes Barker Cup for Characterisation of the Jig/Hornpipe” (Premier)
 

The Rob Roy MacGregor Shield will be awarded jointly by adjudicators, to a dancer competing in Premier dances who clearly demonstrates the “Spirit of the Dance” as an encouragement to further the “Spirit” of Highland Dancing.

The Ron Scott Dancer of the Day, a perpetual trophy, will be awarded jointly by the adjudicators, to a Premier dancer for their outstanding performance over all dances and all age levels.

 

INTERMEDIATE

MACGREGOR INTERMEDIATE TITLE: Highland Fling (4 steps); Seann Triubhas (3&1) and Flora MacDonald's Fancy (4 steps)

TROPHY DANCE: Sailors' Hornpipe (5 steps)

SECTION DANCES: Barracks Johnnie (4 steps); Highland Laddie (4 steps) and Scottish Lilt (4 steps)

“The Bill And Nessie Sharpe Memorial Shield For Intermediate Encouragement Award”

The Narelle Britten Memorial Shield will be awarded, jointly by the adjudicators, to an Intermediate dancer, who most clearly demonstrates the “Spirit of the Dance” as an encouragement to further the “Spirit” of Highland Dancing.

 

CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Solo – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Duo – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Groups – 3 dancers – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Groups – 4-5 dancers – Age groups decided upon receipt of entries - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

Groups 6 or more dancers  Age groups decided upon receipt of entry - Any Scottish/Celtic theme.

(PLEASE NOTE: THAT DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS DANCERS CAN ONLY PERFORM TWICE IN THE CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION)
