2024 Goldfields Competition

This competition is registered with the Eastern Goldfields Highland Dancing – Western Australia Regional Committee Inc. and will be conducted under the rules of the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (RSOBHD) as adopted by the Australian Board of Highland Dancing Inc. (ABHDI).

Start time: 11.00am (TBC)

Dancers are advised to arrive at 10.30am. Registration cards are to be handed in and numbers collected prior to commencement of the competition.

 

Entries close: Monday 20th May 2024

No late entries accepted.

ORDER OF COSTUMES

Order of Costumes for all sections: Aboyne, Hornpipe, Jig, Kilt

 

ORDER OF EVENTS

All Pre-levels and Premier with the exception of Primary dancers, will commence at 11.00am.

Presentations will be at the conclusion of the competition.

All sections will be danced concurrently.

 

PREMIER WITH RESTRICTION – competitors who have not placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a Registered Championship since 25th May 2020. Highest placed Premier with Restriction will be awarded in Premier Title. Please advise on entry form if you are a Premier with Restriction.

 

ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN FULL COSTUME FOR PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. THIS INCLUDES THE APPROPRIATE SHOES/HAT FOR THE COSTUME.
