COMPETITION SCHEDULE
Start time:
8am arrival for an 8:30am sharp competition start.
Please note the program will have competitors of all levels dancing throughout the day (i.e. the day will not be split into A.M. junior and a P.M. senior sessions). We anticipate an early enough finish time to allow for most travelling dancers time to return home.
Entry Fees:
$ 7.00 Section Dance
$12.00 Trophy Dance
$20.00 Title
Additional Fees:
$10.00 Administration/Venue Fee (per family) Includes electronic copy of program – email address to be provided)
The Administration & Venue Levy Fees must be paid with entries.
There is no entry fee into the venue on the day of the competition.
$10 Late Fee (per entry if applicable)
Sponsorship and donations:
Mackay Highland Dancing Association is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the continued interest of Scottish Highland dancing throughout Mackay & District. We seek the support of local businesses or individuals to assist us with the costs associated with the organisation and running of this annual competition. Donors will receive recognition for their sponsorship in the official program, throughout the event and through Facebook. You are also invited to display banners and advertising material during the event.
Sponsorship can be completed while entering a dancer (select optional boxes on the summary page) or arranged via email. If you wish to sponsor a section, make a monetary donation or donate a raffle prize please email mackayHDA@gmail.com with the personal/business name for the sponsorship and any logos you wish to include.
Late Entries:
Entries close Friday 16th February, however late entries will be accepted up until 5pm Friday 23rd February, accompanied by a late fee of $10.00. A Late Entry will not be accepted unless accompanied by the late entry fee.
