This Competition is registered with the South Queensland Regional Committee of Highland Dancing Inc. (Reg. No. SQC22/02 & C03/2022), and will be conducted under the rules and conditions as set down by RSOBHD and as adopted by ABHDI.

Entry fees are fully refundable prior to Thursday 10th March 2022 via HD Comps. After Thursday 10th March 2022, refunds will only be given on production of a medical certificate and if the Competition Organiser is advised in writing prior to the event.  No refunds will be given if a dancer does not meet the criteria above or does not compete on the day.

2022 Participation League:

In 2022, SQRCHDI will, for the purpose of encouraging dancers to participate in competitions, be awarding $50 at each SQ competition to a lucky participating dancer. All dancers will go into a raffle style draw at each event to win the $50.
 

Photography: 

Unauthorised use of cameras, imaging and digital devices is prohibited, including recording using mobile phones. 

It is prohibited to use any device capable of recording or transmitting visual images without the organiser’s permission.

Following the awards parents may photograph their own child or other children with parental permission but be highly aware that there must not be other children in shot whose privacy must be protected. 

As organisers of this event, we plan to photograph winning competitors for the purpose of posting on our Website or Facebook page. If anyone wishes to opt out of this process, please let us know.

Dancers are requested to dress appropriately and modestly at all times.

 

ALL DANCERS: please advise HD Comps as soon as possible if, after submitting your entry:
 • dancer’s classification level changes
 • Premier dancer has advised they are ‘Restricted’ and is then placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd overall in a registered Championship
