Special Awards:
Australia Champion of Champions Gold Medal Awards*
A specially designed medal donated by the Australian Board of Highland Dancing Incorporated will be awarded to the highest placed Australian dancer in each of the three Champion of Champions Championship of Australia events.
Frank Cleves Perpetual Trophy Awards*
Donated by Mrs M Reichelt and awarded to the highest placed Australian dancer in each of the three Champion of Champions Championship of Australia events.
*RSOBHD ruling covering qualification by birth or by residency applies to both of the above mentioned special awards. (Competitor must have been resident in Australia for six months immediately prior to event)
Winner and Teacher Awards
The ABHDI provide $50 to be presented to both the winner and the winner’s teacher in each of the three age groups in the Champion of Champions Championship of Australia. Along with this, the teacher of the winner of the 16yrs and Over, will receive the OzScot Australia Perpetual Trophy.
SUNDAY 10TH APRIL
- Age groups to be confirmed after receipt of entries.
- A ballot will be held for all entries received prior to 30th November. After this date, entries will be added consecutively after they arrive.
- Championship photographs will be taken after the presentation.

CATARACT GORGE CELTIC CHALLENGE – Open to all Premier dancers. Enter Premier OR Premier with Restrictions. (Dancers who have gained a 1st, 2nd or 3rd placing in a registered RSOBHD/ABHDI Championship since 1st January 2019 must not enter premier restricted). Age groups may be altered when entries have closed.

Information regarding the purchase of admission tickets and the programme will soon be on our Highland Dance Tasmania website.
♦ FRIDAY 8th APRIL: You will be able to go the Silverdome on the Friday from 3.00 – 5.00pm to collect numbers, goody bags, programs, merchandise and entry wrist bands.
♦ MERCHANDISE: Can be ordered on our Highland Dance Tasmania website, and can be collected at the event.
♦ ACCOMMODATION: Many places are giving our dance families discounts for their stay in Tasmania. You will find links to these places on our Highland Dance Tasmania website.
♦ SPONSORSHIP: We are looking for sponsors of titles, sections, age groups, medals/sashes/trophies where you can be recognised as the sponsor. These options will soon be on the website and we would welcome your contribution.
♦ SUNDAY NIGHT 10th APRIL: We are having an event on the Sunday evening to celebrate the conclusion of the Champion of Champions Championships in Tasmania. We will be inviting all top 6 place getters in the Champion of Champions Championships to perform the Highland Fling, along with choreographed items from other dance schools around the country.
Please keep the evening free. Information about this event will be on the Highland Dance Tasmania website.
