This Competition is registered with the NSW State Committee of Highland Dancing Inc. (Reg.No. C’ship C09/2021 SNDP02/2021 and Comp NSW09/21) and will be conducted under the rules and conditions as set down by RSOBHD and as adopted by ABHDI.

 

Photography: Unauthorised use of cameras, imaging and digital devices is prohibited, including recording using mobile phones.

It is prohibited to use any device capable of recording or transmitting visual images without the organiser’s permission.

Following the awards parents may photograph their own child or other children with parental permission but be highly aware that there must not be other children in shot whose privacy must be protected.

As organisers of this event, we plan to photograph competitors for the purpose of posting on our Website or Facebook page. If anyone wishes to opt out of this process, please let us know.

Dancers are requested to dress appropriately and modestly at all times.

 

ALL DANCERS: please advise HD Comps as soon as possible if, after submitting your entry:

• dancer’s classification level changes

• Premier dancer has advised they are ‘Restricted’ and is then placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd overall in a registered Championship

$5.00 per Section

$15 per Title

$30.00 per Championship (7-11yr, 12 – 15yr) $35 per Championship (16-18yr, 19 & 0ver)

$30.00 per Scottish National Dance Premiership (all ages groups)

No Ballot: First entries received will be the last to dance.
Age groups will run concurrently.

“In all ABHDI sanctioned Championship until 31st March 2021 dancers will only dance the Highland Fling, Sword Dance and Seann Triubhas. This is in line with the RSOBHD position. RSOBHD will continue to review the situation and provide an update at the March RSOBHD Board meeting. The RSOBHD position regarding reels in championships remains based on the premise of being fair and equitable to all dancers globally.”

NOTE:  1. Restricted Premier dancers have not placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd in a championship since 31/12/2016.

2. Premier dancers can only enter a total of 8 dances. SO CANNOT DO CHAMPIONSHIP, PREMIERSHIP, TITLE & SECTION DANCES. PLEASE CHOOSE UP TO 8 DANCES
